Meet the Artist
As a child my prized possessions included assorted pencils, colorful paper, sketch pads and numerous pencil crayons. Some of my favorite things to draw were cartoons of ocean life and printing in microscopic proportions.
Throughout school and college, I specialized in art, drawing, photography and graphic arts. I received numerous awards and a scholarship. Being creative was a part of me.
Then in 2002, my skills were reignited when a friend of mine began two community newspapers. I picked up my pencil and started to cartoon. This is when ComParrot Puzzles began. Numerous newspapers and publications began to print my cartoon puzzles.
As a Child, My Ocean World
When I wrote about my favorite things to draw as a child it got me thinking. So I looked in some boxes stored away from my childhood. I was very pleased to have found a few of my favorites that I drew, then look at ones I drew as an adult.
